Here's just a few thing I have found, Here in two week I will Be going to a old Indian camp area that was on a map I found from 1886. Next to the river.. The widow told me I could come out there and as much as she know No one has ever been on the land, looking for coins, But here great grandfather family once owned the land and she has it now.
Well I am from the st louis mo area, But good plases to go that I have found are, The side of old road , sign pools, where old stop sign have been , Old fishing ponds, Old parking lots, Any old building! Watch Park land they can fine you up to five hundred if you DIG. And if your in the city, Go around apartment complexes / People drop all kinds of thing! Old farm houses are great! If you have a good metal detector and can Block out all the junk It helps! Rail road tracks are a pain But they are some of the oldest ways of transportation, People have walked tracks for years.. I learn more every day , But I have been all over the place, I started most of this when I was 14 years old In blackcaynon az going and panning, with my dad and going to old ghost towns. It's out there and can be really hard to find!
wow im 14 and i just started... theres this old abandoned house near me (i live in nj btw) and me and my a dad might go there... is the fisher f4 a good metal detector? cost me enough lol
Sorry I did not get back to you last night about the fisher 4, It is a nice one if you have the money, But to start off try a gertt 250, or a whites coinmaster pro, not the gt! the reason I say this is because starting off your going to need to teach your self, But you can get both of the metal detectors for around 200$ Look for discounts and get them for about 175$ Finding the junk sometimes pay off also.. So good luck! and after you do the Treasure hunt for a while and like it get you a better metal detector.. I have seen so many people by the best and not like all the work..
