Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

A while back I sent some coins to BRG5658 for some imaging, got them back today. I am beyond happy with the quality of the images he gave me. I am blown back at the quality of these images even to the minor details of a cropped image.

I've decided to post a few of my images along with his to show how far superior his images are.

The following are all his photography.
For the life of me I could not get any color out of this nicely toned merc in any of my images. I flat out gave up trying to image it.

I got a two angle shot with this one. I believe the second one is using an axial lighting setup.

Brandon made sure to point out there was some doubling on this one, and after checking it out, I have to say it looks like machine doubling rather than a doubled die.

And finally, we get to the 1942 proof set I am working on. Here's the coins I have.

Great, too bad they can't just package a cheap technology so everyone could get results like this. It has taken me all these years just to get my own digital camera and learn how to use it.

Taking good photos is an acquired skill. Some just have the instincts for it, some get it through hard work taking thousands of photos, some just will not get it. I honestly think the key of taking good photos is lighting, focal length and timing. But at the same time, it's like trying to explain all this is like trying to explain a new driver how to drive a manual car going around in a sharp corner. Takes a lot of time and patience.

I quite like cazkaboom's photos as well.
