Pick up today: British North Borneo 1891H Half Cent

I saw that this issue in similar condition sold for a little over $250 (raw) so I bid and won this coin for £55 hammer. This is only the second BNB coin I own and might get it slabbed. Views on how it might do at PCGS welcome. All the best, Marbury

Nice coin Marbury518, great detail.! I am thinking possibly MS62. I like the ship and lion.

 

I would be happy with a 62 and it would be quite a valuable coin at that. I have seen some other North Borneo's for sale and they are described as NGC but I suspect they are NNC, a scam to get higher bidding.

 

MS64 selling at $400 on e-bay.

 

TJC was correct, ANACS MS62, though I over estimated the value. Probably paid what it's worth. Nice coin to have though.
