CHEAP Gold Liberty Dollars

    Now that I think of it, Ive never seen a Gold Liberty Dollar, is this a fake? :p

    It says "copy" on the reverse. Not gold at all.

    I'd say seller will say it got lost in the mail, and they will make a claim and come out way ahead, and buyer will say wheres my item, lost in the mail lol :eek:

    I wonder how many times either one of those guys could get away with USPS insurance fraud?

    I thought eBay didn't allow fake or copy coins anymore. My girls one Christmas bought my a 1936 proof set copy from I think it was Franklin mint. I love the thing but if I post a picture I make sure I show the reverse that has copy stamped on it. It came in a green holder, piece of junk, so I put it in a capital holder. It's a beautiful set.

    Now there is an interesting point of law. ebay doesn't allow it, so buyers can rely on it not being fake/copy and hence protected under buyer protection?
