Since getting back in the hobby, there is another new term (to me) which everyone's using is "Grey Sheet." Where doe's one find it? And what exactly is it? Seriously. :)

    Thanks

    Ben:
the grey sheet (actually the Coin Dealer Newsletter) gives prices for bid and ask on coins. There is the weekly, for Morgan dollars and commonly traded items, I don't get that one. Then there is the monthly, with different series, like: Indian Head cents, Buffalo nickels, all Barbers, etc.. Also, four quarterly, for dated gold, large cents, half cents etc.

Each date & mintmark and a number of grades are listed.
Try to buy as close to bid as possible, dealers will trade between themselves at or near bid, and they try to get ask. They will usually pay you below bid for coins that they are buying from non-dealers.
    Good luck.
