1980 D Small cent

Here is a 1980 d Penny I have that looks to be clipped . what do you think of the coin?

Now the question , With it being d/d and the year messed Up Is it worth anything?

 

It's not a doubled die nor an RPM. What you are seeing on the date and mint mark is machine doubling. It should bring a few bucks for the clip.

 

ok thank you double dies seam to be hard to find, only found one in about 500ooo, cents

Did you find it in a bank roll?

 

Yes In a coin roll from the bank when i go buy 25$ In pennies ta few times a week

 

If they were easy to find it wouldn't be as interesting and as rewarding when you find one.

 

Nothing about coins are easy, I can tell you that! But I love the Hunt! I also Love metal detecting Up and down the Mississippi River were early settlers Use to camp . I have found Hust about anything you can think of.. 4lb canon balls muskets old coins silver, But no gold coins... But find gold rings Under bridges by the river front.. I found a few thing on the grounds of the worlds far till I was told I was not allowed to treasurer Hunt there after six day !
