What I meant too, maybe talk of "occupation" is not entirely correct, but the result was the same. petronius
Thanks Kolyan and Petronius I've an arm load of western Euro. types, you two showed me more Eastern euro. than I even knew existed, thank you.
Nice coins, Ripley - I like that 50 dinara design. Just for the record (you and I, and most others here, will know this), those are not occupation or concentration camp issues. Then again, the notes that Petronius showed us are also interesting but not exactly coins. Hmm, maybe we can split this ... Christian
Some 1942 zinc coins. Zinc was largely used during the war instead of copper, more expensive and more relevant to the needs of the war. Serbia, 2 dinara Netherlands, 5 cents Netherlands, 25 cents petronius
About a month ago, I was in France, and I passed by a fountain to wash my hands. I noticed a coin lying on the edge of the fountain. It turned out to be a 1942 50 Centimes piece.
OK, I tried splitting the topic into two, with similar titles. Coins are mostly here (some posts were "mixed"), notes/paper money issues are mostly there: German Occupation/WW2/Concentration Camp Notes http://www.cointalk.com/threads/german-occupation-ww2-concentration-camp-notes.236074/ Christian
