Old one cent?

    looks like a draped bust large cent, 1796-1807, doubt it has any monetary value because of its condition(no readable date)....

    Like Ken said, it is a draped large cent, in that condition worth whatever someone will pay for it.

    Dateless or not, it is identifiable by type, so even if only for the novelty factor, someone would buy it for many, many multiples of face value. While not great, it does possess some "monetary value".

    ok i see your point,, seen people bidding on dateless buffs on ebay,,guess i was thinkin personally whereas i would,nt even consider a coin with the date worn off...

    My first coin was a dateless buff. Found out much later it was a type one 1913. I was a fast learner....
