1914-D Lincoln

    Picked this up at an auction in 2005. The man who owned the house next door used to have a coin shop. Before he sold the house, he auctioned the remainder of his inventory. What would you grade it? Value? I don't have a fancy camera. I might be able to scan it with my printer/scanner.

    I'd say it just makes VG8 Great coin!

    Retail on numismedia dot com is around $180.00 for a VG8 in original un-tampered with condition. That's what you can expect to see on a price tag.
    A dealer would pay you considerably less. It's one of my favorite dates in the wheat cent series.

    I just sold a 1914 d f to vf and a 1931 s in ms 60 for 450$ to a collecter about 3 months ago people always seem to find them in grades like vg -vf a lot those are very nice coins and good to hang on to

    1914-d and the 1931-s are both very valuable.
