Not a coin but a medal -- some kind of donation receipt. I know this is a reply to a relatively old post Anyway, in 1932 there were two Reichstag (national parliament) elections, one in July, one in November. Since no month is mentioned, I assume it was issued for the first election. There are several issues of that type - bronze, silver, gilded silver ... guess that what you could get depended on how much you donated to the nazi party. Side note: The paper money images are about the Operation Bernhard. Christian
For cleaning Zinc coins try soaking the coins in White Vinagar for 6-8 hours. This will turn the coins from a dark color to a light grey color. Now, gently polish the front and back with stainless steel brush. This will remove any dirt and also bring the coin to a "like new" shine. I am hoping this was an attempt at humor. However, some members that are new to collecting may take this as serious advice. Unless you know how to professionally restore coins, it is best to avoid cleaning them altogether. Especially harshly as with a steel/wire brush.
eBay is full of harshly cleaned Nazi era coins. I have been looking for a 1945 Berlin or Muldenhutten example, and then the Berlin coins from 1947-8 but so far not having luck finding many that are not cleaned, spotted, have zinc disease etc. As much as I loathe the Nazis I sort of want one of those last gasp coins.
Not until now, unfortunately none of what I want in that era, but have to go back and look at the 1920s and 1930s commemoratives and medals - always on the prowl for Zeppelin related memorabilia.
