Latest trade with Goldmark; coins were sent from Germany to Chile 16th July. As one may have it, when the coins arrived in Santiago, the national mail went on a serious (to hunger) strike and continued until last week. I honestly thought the package would be lost and was seriously pleased when the coins arrived this week. I was so excited and decided to take a day leave and return home earlier. So, some Denmark 2 Kroner specimens attached. Lets see some more Denmark coins! KM 821 DENMARK 2 Kroner 1923 (h) HCN; GJ KM 829 DENMARK 2 Kroner 1930(h) N; AH/HS KM 836 DENMARK 1945 Christian X 2 Kroner 1945-N(h)S Birthday
Great coins - especially (in my opinion) the first one, with the interesting font and the "double circle" on either side. And even better that they ultimately arrived, although the circumstances have obviously been difficult ... Christian
Christian X is one of the more renowned Danish rulers in modern history. There are a couple of early 20th century silver commemoratives that I am looking for that have "Dania" on them. Other than the silver I collect Danish gold:
Good to see the coins have finally arrived and that you like them Derick. KM# 802 is my favorite coin design for the 2 Kroner silver denomination of the early 20th century together with KM# 829.
I do, thanx. The 20 Kroner from the 2001 mint set, KM 888.1 Denmark 2001 20 Kroner LG JP(Margrethe II)
Uh-oh. That portrait of the queen. Well, first I found it interesting, but I'm glad they use a different one these days. The LG is the mintmaster's sign (Laust Grove), and JP are the designer's initials (Jan Petersen). Christian
