    -made of copper
    - you can barely make out the year but it's there
    -it's very worn out
-the indian had is still visible
-i'm assuming it says america on the side
-you can read "one cent" on it still

    What country is it from?
Can't be the US since the US Mint never issued pennies.
The US Mint only issued CENTS.

Are you sure "ONE CENT" isn't on the "tails" side? ;)
As said, I think pictures are a good way go start when determining the value.

He was just lightheartedly playing around with you. So very many people call US one cent coins "pennies", and even though everyone knows what they mean, the fact is that, assuming it is real, your coin is not a "penny"; it is a "cent".

Thanks. I'm going to try to figure out how to get pictures on my computer, it's new and I haven't figured it out yet. I will post as soon as I can.
