So I went to a pawn shop today and found some great stuff. Got 9 coins, 7 of which turned out to be foreign silver worth $60-$90 and two commemerative tokens of little value, paid $1 per coin, they were in a junk coin pile and unpriced. The great unknown and the coin that interests me the most and the one I'm posting about is this trade token from Fargo ND. Does anyone have any information on the history or potential value of this trade token? I'm thinking it dates to 1900-1930?

Peterson & Johnson's book "North Dakota Merchant Tokens" list this token as id S-06-01-05. I wouldn't guess it from the token's color in the photos, but it is supposed to be made of brass or bronze, and be 21mm in size. The book is put together more as a checklist, so individual token rarities and prices are purposely omitted. Shoey's also issued a 50 cent token. I have a copy of Peterson's "Bidding Record of North Dakota Tokens Advertised on Ebay 2000-2002", but neither of Shoey's tokens were listed. However, there were numerous other tokens from Fargo, most of which were in the $1 to $10 range, with the majority being in the $4 to $6 ballpark. A few brought prices in the $20 to $30 range. Sorry I couldn't have been more helpful.
