1841-O Seated Dime New Rare Closed Bud Found! 99c to

    Gary Fortin Just report a new high 1841-O small Closed Bud Rev.
    EF-40 is what Pcgs has graded it.This 1841-O is about 4k not cleaned or a 1841-O S-Dime rev.jpg problem coin
    here a Large O Rev open bud. their also will be a link to LSCC/Seated Liberty Dime+Half Die Die variety's. :)

    You speak of a closed bud, picture an open bud, and provide no link to anywhere where he discusses the new find. No pictures of the new piece either. You're kind of leaving us hanging.

    I'm confused. 1841-O Closed Bud reverses have been known about for a long time now. What's so "new" about it?

    The closed bud small O has been known for some time as well. My guess is that the "new" is a new high grade piece has been cherried.

    I don't get Coin World so I won't see the article.

    Nope, haven't seen the coin. I do subscribe to Coin World though so will see it in a week or so.

    This week Gerry should have it on his web site. I know Gerry email me finding on my 1840 Philly that really was 1840-O dime small o weak strike thru that week . rac_banner.jpeg
    He updated his web site fast.
