WHO DESIGNED THE 1933 CHINESE "JUNK" DOLLAR?

The Bank of China asked mints around the world to create a pattern coin for a new reverse on their Silver Dollar Coin for use in 1933. Among those who submitted patterns were the United States, Britain, Japan, Austria, and Italy. The submissions were narrowed down to two designs which were similar: Britain and Italy. Both used a Chinese "junk" as the main device on the coin.

    Keep going for answer.

The British "junk" pattern had three masts, the Italian "junk" pattern was rigged with two masts. The two-masted Italian design was the one selected and used.
