However, usually collectors of $100s will go for higher grades. The auction records I have are slim when it comes to modern notes. This is the closest sale I could find: Lyn Knight 05/26/2010 2006 $100 - Atlanta (Fr. 2180-F) HF00000006C PCGS - 50 $575.00 I'd say your note is not AU 50 since I an see two vertical folds that look to be pressed out. Perhaps XF40 to 45. On the other hand, a serial number 7 is more desirable than 6, even though it is a higher number. With these factors, I would say it should bring $500-$600 at auction.
