I just bought an 1853 with great die clash that produces rays descending from the base of the rock to all 4 date digits.
Anybody have an attribution for this? It's not in CPG 4th edition, which is what I have.

Are die clashes typically noted in the CPG? I ask because a die clash is not something generally inherent within the die upon production, but rather happens to the die during normal usage and is often removed during die life.

The 1853A&R half has this in CPG. In the half dollar it is extremely rare. Not so much in the 25c.

Nice die clash and nice die breaks.
    Gives a coin personality.
