Other than selection, Ease of navigation is EXTEMELY important IMHO. I am surprised it is not rated higher. There are plenty of dealers that have a great selection, and maybe have great prices, but if a user cannot filter, sort, and search quickly and intuitively, then you end up not matching up buyers and seller.

I run into this all the time, and I have even gotten to the point where I barely check the inventories of dealer sites that lack basic filtering and sorting. Heritage and David Lawrence are the best of the 30 sites I check. I actually think DLRC ought to license there website design to other dealers for big $$$, as it is WAY beyond most dealer sites for finding coins that I want, in my budget, etc.

I can think of one dealer in particular who has a great selection, great images, good prices, and yet the filtering and sorting is HORRIBLE. It is very tedious searching through hundreds of coins one by one that are all way out of my price range.

Price is #1. If you are just going after the uneducated buyers that pay too much ,then my opinion won't matter to you. There are some dealers who do successfully cater to cheapskates like me.

Gotta give ya credit, you got a sense of humor. That alone is enough to make a good guy in my book :)

As for your daughter, well, I think we all (parents) know how that is. But ya might want to paraphrase something to her that Mark Twain said. It goes something like this -

When I was 15, my father was the dumbest man walking the face of the planet. By the time I was 25, I'll be danged if he wasn't getting smarter. By the time I was 35, my father the smartest man I'd ever known !

You tell her that now. She'll roll her eyes and probably walk away without saying a word. But in 20 years, I'll betcha she remembers ;)

I note that Ease of navigation seems to be inching its way back into the race as more responses are received. I've often left sites for lack of time to wade through all of the common inventory to find the few scarce coins that would interest me. Frankly, even eBay has so much dreck that I often ditch them after 10 minutes of looking. I'm getting off on a tangent, as that's got as much to do with the selection as with ease of navigation, but it gets to one of my pet peeves . . . time invested without acceptable results.

I find it interesting that not a soul selected Resource Links (not yet anyway).

That's not because I expected people to be interested in following links from the site.

It's because, while studying Search Engine Optimization techniques, I learned that Google, Bing & other browsers actually place great emphasis on the inclusion of links when they search for and rank websites in search results.

Because I was skeptical, I hadn't yet added resource links to my site , and you've all validated my assumptions.
