Please guess the grade of the 1932 Denmark 25 Ore shown below. I have attached a poll for you to cast your vote and you may select up to 3 different things: the numerical grade, + grade, and * designation. As always, comments welcome, and please remember to vote in the poll.
64 or possibly a 65. The small smudges on the obverse might make the differences. Not distracting, but still there. Bruce
The reverse strike appears a bit weak which makes it more difficult to grade from photos. I guessed 63 but it can easily be higher than that. Nice coin.
I think I top out at 63 based on those pictures. However... I'm almost always a point low on your GTGs.
If it is any consolation, MS63 was the grade I was expecting. The price guide in MS63 is $90 and I paid $65 before grading fees. Stay tuned, gonna hold the reveal on this a while till we get some more responses.
As I said earlier, I expected an MS63 grade and was hoping to get lucky with an MS64 grade. Instead, I was greeted with the most embarrassing grade of my coin submitting life: MS61 The coin presents as an MS64, but upon closer inspection, one could easily see why they would assign an MS63 grade, but MS61? The only thing I can come up with is that they net graded the coin due to the severe abrasion above the 1 in the date.
The slab photos seem to show a scruffier coin with less luster than your initial photos. Still, 61 seems a bit low.
