High everyone. So searching again today a found this 1945d Lincoln
with what looks like at first milling marks on reverse but apon closer inspection it appears to have been
Made with it.As the lettering is not damaged by it. There are from what I can tell 4 circles Could this be from a Die drop, Meaning the due plate was removed and accidentally stamped the coins and then the Die reinserted ??
I have seen coins that where milled down but this is far from being that . And thoughts or ideas. Thank You

In my opinion this definately didn't come from the mint like this. it is something dried up on the coin .it may have been glued to something at one time or maybe it is just toned this way from where it was laying on something.
the glue theory would be my best guess , it looks like glue or something else dried up has been removed in this area and left the protected area where the foreign matter was cleaner than the rest of the coin.

I have to agree with rascal on this looks like it was at one time glued to something and then the glue removed leaveing the rings.

I have a coin that's was glued and left some rings and some risdule glue so i can see why that would be a possible cause but this one does have some damage in the circles. I will try to post some more pics , Thank you all again for your imput
