They won't fit.

 

They fit in 2x2 flips easily. However, however you wish to store them is a personal choice.

 

Half dollars are 30.61mm in diameter. Pennies from GB are mainly 31mm.

 

thats odd they fit almost perfect in mine wih a very small bulge on one rim just a little snug thats all
