he might be looking at the reverse letters of united, seem to have a wide spread.. but no cut line to indicate real doubling on the reverse
it looks like the OP may be asking about the copper plate doubling around the memorial building and some of the letters . I have seen a lot of the copper plated zinc coins that appeared to have extra letters beside of the original letters because of the copper plating swelling up after the strike. the darn copper plating issues is going to be very confusing to some of the new error coin collectors.
