Now ive been penny roll hunting and have been finding these black pennies. I asked my dad if it was an error or something and he said its black paint, but ive been finding way too many for someone to accidentally spill black paint on them... Is it an error, or is my father right for once? Thanks, Ace
Probably environmental factors. I don't believe that there us a mint error that would result in a blackened appearance of cents.
