I have this and am wondering how much it's worth. Here is the original thread under "error coins".

It's worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Unfortunately, errors like this often don't command a significant premium, unless they are in a key location such as the "speared bison" or "high leaf/low leaf" errors.

I agree with Simon. You'd be lucky to get 99 cents for it on Ebay and that's if you also offer free shipping. There just isn't a demand for random die gouges.

I have another cent zinc. It has MD and/or uneven surface and plating humps that form kind of a hole between the mouth and the nostril.then a ridge from the nostril to in front of the beard. It looks like a huge booger coming out of his nose. It's quite prominent. I didn't think much about it after I found out it wasn't a doubled die. Now you got me thinking what to call it? Tissue please" or boogernose. Hahaha

How about calling it a Lincoln cent in bad condition. Who wants to hold a booger between their fingers? It never fails to disgust me when people come up with "bidiotic" names.

I'm going to open a new thread for the "Tissue Issue" Lincoln Cent.

I'm keeping it. It's my favorite coin so far.
