Yes - Greek 50 Lepta (half a Drachma) 1959, copper nickel and in this condition pretty much worthless I'm afraid. Easiest answer for taking pictures of coins, if you don't have fancy camera gear, is to use a scanner - most of us have them as a combo with the printer and they get reasonably sharp image. Use Paint (which comes free with Windows) to crop down to s sensible size.
For ACE71499 - I think you need a new coin dealer! That is no way to encourage a new collector!

Don't get stuff appraised by a dealer, do it yourself through sold coins online (it makes for a better appraisal ;))

    Yea!

... and remember most of us "Old Numismatists" would happily swap all our knowledge and experience for your youth and enthusiasm!

While years can have a positive affect in gathering wisdom, I also do not discount YNs. David Bowers was running a successful coin business before he could drive. Age is not much of a factor in collecting.
