View attachment 282055 View attachment 282056 View attachment 282056 My only Hadrian. After reading this thread....I need a denarius.
Great Coins Maridvnvm (I really like the first Eastern mint Denarius)! Stunning Aureus Joe! Great coins Everyone! Hadrian is one of the few emperors that I could buy many, many coins of just for the different interesting types. I am interested in all of the types above, and love the second coin...
Well I might as well add my two. They are nothing compared to all of yours and are definitely budget examples of Hadrian coins but they aren't going anwhere soon because they are two of my favourite coins in my collection. Hadrian is hands down on of my favourite emperors and always has been. I also just began reading Hadrian and the Triumph of Rome by Anthony Everitt. I enjoyed his biography of Augustus (which I recommend to all) so much I immediately bought his book on Hadrian to begin reading on my daily bus rides to work. Anyways here the are: Hadrian Sestertius Hadrian Alexandrian Tetradrachm
