I have finally added a new Wheatie to my set. It was in the last Heritage auction:

Very nice example of the 99D. It displays some nice polish lines across the obverse. Here is a MS69 PCGS example I bought from David Lawrence Auctions a few years back. It was graded by PCGS as it appears now. I tried earlier this year to have it crossed over by NGC and it came back because of the coloration on the front. I was some what surprised since I have NGC coins with similar appearance

I will be posting some more pictures over the next few weeks as Robec continues to take some amazing photos of my registry set. Here is a picture of my NGC MS67RD 1971D Lincoln Memorial with a current NGC population of 5 with none grade higher. I will be posting pictures of my first MS69RD Lincoln in my set as well as some single digit graded examples to include some that are still population one coins. Stay tuned

Simon, what color is that coin in hand? It looks khaki, green, or something like that in your pictures.

Yeah this was a quick shoot...it does look quite green in pics. Definitely more golden in-hand, I'll probably reshoot it in the morning...

Hi everyone. I cannot thank Robec's Images for his amazing work on my NGC Lincoln Memorial Registry set 1959-Date. Here is another beautiful example of his work a picture of my NGC MS69RD 1985 Lincoln Memorial with a current NGC population of 5. 514 have been graded so far. This is the first yeat that NGC graded any mint state/business strike Lincoln Memorials in MS69RD

Now that's a KILLER coin! The modern zincolns are so unappreciated, especially the early 80's. Finding one with almost no gas bubbles. no spots, nice luster and virtually no hits would be an extremely rare occurrence. I have searched thousands of these and 99.99% are subpar.

This is the best one I've found out of all my searching.

This is one of the better ones I find roll searching. The spots aren't as bad as the photo shows...but this is a typical example.

I found this 1984D in a roll....these are some of the worst ever issued.

Hey Joe - Did you post your 84D yet?
