Uh, how can you say it is that coin? There aren't even any pictures in the thread...
If you are saying your coin is DDO-001, you are incorrect. Die 1 is a class V doubled die with strong notching and separation. You can see it here.

I looked at variety vista, Lincoln Resource, and Coppercoins.com there are about 10 DDO non proof
1983 cents. Several have the same type of date with the 8 thickened and the bottom circle spreading to the southeast. As well as the 3 thicker than ordinary with seperation lines at the lower and tip of upper curves. Some listings have no pictures. They have descriptions of die markers though. You are right I need to check every coin against the available
