What's up friends? Anyone waiting to post that last bid to snipe the coin right out of someone else's hands, life and collection? ;) Of course I can't mention the coin, medal or token I'm hoping to snipe but I'm feeling a bit of adrenaline coming on as the minutes tick tock closer to my hopeful payoff. :D Anyone else feeling competitive?

Heck, I lost out on two really cool tokens but that's alright. Sometimes, you snipe and sometimes you just save some money. Besides, there's still a couple other items I'm looking to get so we'll see. :D

I'm feeling in the sniping mood, but I'm a bit short on cash at the moment, so I should be holding off...:p

I'm also low on cash, have a bid in on a coin I'd like to own that will sap my PayPal dry. Kinda hoping none of you guys snipe it from under me.

    I work the other way.
    I don't snipe.
I put my max bid in early then forget about it until the auction closes.
    No stress.

That certainly is one way to do it.
There are some ebay snipers that allow you to enter your maximum bid and the rest is automated...I can turn my computer off, and in the last 6 seconds of the auction, it'll put in my maximum bid. I like it because it is completely automated, and I have the possibility of paying well below my maximum price by avoiding someone outbidding me earlier in the auction. :)

Both ways work fine, and both have their advantages. It is all a matter of personal preference.

I got a nuke snipe set for tonight so if I lose they're going to pay way more than its worth.

Maybe I'm missing something but if someone beats you and pays "way more than its worth" doesn't that imply that if they DON'T beat you then you could be paying more than it's worth.

I had two snipes set up for tonight and they just ended. I only won, one but it appears to be a very nice coin and I got it at a price I'm happy with. I'll post a picture when it arrives.

    Yes and no.

I put a snipe in at 2 1/2 times value. If another bidder puts in a nuke bid then yes, if bidding stays around value, then its mine. Its a pop of 3 in the grade i'm building the set in so to me its worth the $ as it maybe a year before another surfaces if another on surfaces.
