Some favourites!

Just wanted to post a few of my favourite coins. Most are common and not very valuable, but I like the designs. Please post your favourites!

Those are lovely moderns, I especially like the first coin posted.

 

I like the 10 Shilling from Ireland. Uncluttered, simple design.

 

i really like the Guetmala coin i have never seen one like it but the design is very nice !!

 

I like the Guatemala coin, too. I have a 1/4 Real (1901), a 1 Centavo (1932) and a 2 Centavo (1929), all in BU.

Joe, what are the Guatemala copper coins that a collector should go for? Keys? Your faves?

The later issues of the 1 centavo can be found in XF to UNC conditions by the handful and are not worth much, though the 1950's issues are still worth collecting in UNC condition.

I like the 2.5 shillings with the Sable. I also like the Bolivia Republic Soles. I just need to photograph all of them.

One of my favorite coins from South America. I just love the sun peeking from behind the mountains. I would love to own the 1912 Cordoba version of this coin, but, alas, $1950 in unc! Maybe I can find a nice VF.

 

The 1860 8 Soles is a overstrike and I cannot remember over what coin. How stupid.
