i got 2 twenty dollar bills from the bank a few weeks ago. i was looking at the serial # and the 1st 20 i looked at had a serial # of 45553896 and the 2nd had a serial of 45553897. are these worth anything together like this? they are both brand new. they are consequtive numbers.

Seems neat, I dont know but i do know that there are a few collectors that collect things like these and might pay some money in addition to the face value.

The fact is- anyone can get them at the bank. I got 7 consec. new $10 bills, 4 consec. $1 bills,
    2 consec. $5 bills and 6 consecutive $20 bills.
Unless you plan to keep them for ten years or so they really won't bring a premium.
I kept mine a couple weeks and then just spent them.
It is not worth tying up that kind of cash with an interest rate of zero.
