    I don't think it is, but what date is it? If it's a rare one, it might be valuable. We can tell from the D mintmark that it was produced at the Denver mint.

    1915 it looks different from the rest of mine on the back

    Wow...that is a pretty rare date. I'm pretty sure it's a die crack, considering how deep it is.

    I would say somewhere around AG-G grade, possibly even VG grade. But the die crack might add about 10% or 20% over the catalog value.

    Did you use "date back"? even with the die crack it's maybe worth $1.00. :(

    I never did my mother n law gave this to me she found it in some change

    A 1915 D nickel in average circulated grade (somewhere along F-VF) would be around $31. But I'd say it would be worth less due to the lower grade.

    I don't think the die crack adds much value, if any.

    Die cracks are common, especially for older coins.

    I'm not to worried about the value to much just wondering if it was a die crack thank you everyone

    It's not a die crack, it's a die clash area, not polished out yet. You may have other areas that are affected.
