Meet, El Cheapo:Second rate coin dealer. Forget about fancy cars and bottles of wine! El Cheapo shows you how to get it done CHEAP!
El Cheapo's other observations: 1. The Penny Lady was great and had reasonable prices on her half cents, even though El Cheapo didn't buy any. 2. Bourse floor manners were out the door. 2 people cut in front of a conversation between Rick Snow and El Cheapo, in which Rick was buying a 2 cent piece. 3. Rich Ulrich was the nicest dealer there IMO. He shook El Cheapo's hand, looked him in the eye, and thanked him. Classy! 4. El Cheapo spent $500 on hotels, meals, gas, etc... Hopefully he can make that back and then some.
Lol great thread/report. Nice to see a sense of humor. Im surprised at how cheap the capped quarter was but then again I dont focus on them & know my f12 was a bargain to me from 900fine. Love the half dime too.
Looks like El Cheapo had a great time! Some nice El Cheapo pick-ups too, As for shooting the tolls El Cheapo, El Cheapo should do what a college buddy of mine used to do. He never used a gun, but he did use the accelerator pedal on the automobile. As he approached the toll booth, instead of slowing down, he would speed up and breeze right through the plaza. I think he's still doing time in Attica...........
Yay, the devil icon is back! I meant "best" as in funniest, and it's only the 14th of August so I've got another half a month to go...
Lmao I love it!! Especially the ones about wine it's grape juice gone bad West Virginia yes there's few branches in the family trees and I'm nearly as big of megadeth fan as I am a fan of draped bust coinage like the half dime a lot!!
Shoot. I always thought Megadeath had bad breath. Keep with jazz or at the least some Steely Dan.........
Oh yeah. El Cheapo spent extra $$ to stay at the Doubletree Hotel right beside the convention center, cuz Chicago averages about 50 shootings a week, and El Cheapo doesn't need that.
