WOW 2 1883 V nickels in same box. vg? and au?

    9 rolls into the box and I am at 2??? 41 rolls to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    ty all but it has gotten better. I got a 1912 v and a 45 d silver in the same roll. on #22. I have 28 left. I know this will never happen again but I am not complaining

    You should consider going back and getting another box from the same bank. The remaining boxes may have been filled with coins from the same group and may contain more like what you have already found.

    I'd go borderline F for the first and low AU for the other.

    Super jealous right now. I would kill for any "V" nickel whatever shape it's in. Ive searched 64 boxes so far and not a single one to be found.

    They were heavily hoarded when they first came out, so there are a lot more well-preserved examples than from any other date or variety in the series. Prices of higher-grade specimens reflect this. If you find a higher-grade Liberty nickel, the odds are good that it's an 1883 no-cents.
