Sacagawea proof, 2001, no rim lettering

    Is this valuable at all? Just got it in a random roll.. It is the only one without rim lettering, plus proof to boot. S mintmark

    The Sac dollars did not have rim lettering (Except for a few error coins in 2007 ) Rim lettering on the Sac did not start until it changed to the NA dollar in 2009.

    Oh, alright.

    Well, I guess I just got a semi-forced-key date proof from the first roll of coins I got. Wonderful :)

    Rim lettering? Or do you mean edge lettering?

    The Sacagawea lettered edge errors are the only Sacagaweas that have lettered edges.

    Starting in 2009, the Mint released the (semi-redesigned) Native American Dollar. They have lettered edges.

    Not very. But I'd hold on to it myself. With only 3 million of them around only 1 in 100 Americans can have one, so you may as well be one of the ones:
