I paid a fair bit for this 360SGD hammer but I have a feeling I still did well and these coins in decent grade without chop marks are not easy to find. Some views on grade and a catalogue number might be helpful as I disagreed with the number published by the auction house. Any minutie from the keen eyed Chinese numismatic experts obviously welcome...marbury (typo on Kiangnan, whoops)
Snap: Just found out I won another at auction Just won this and unless someone can tell me something interesting in the detail I have over paid I think. This doesn't seem nearly as nice as the other and paid a fair bit more... So this one has dots or stops and the other doesn't...though both HAH CH.
The one with dots 145a.13 was rejected by NGC as they couldn't make up their mind about it....very timid these days just got thumbs up from PCGS. EX45.
Just paid NCS to remove the sticky residue from the 145a.12 (auction house clearly forgot to mention that) and this will then be sent to PCGS for a result.......then just to decide which ones the keeper and which ones to sell.....
Turned out to be 145a.14 Dot at 7 DDR whatever that means. Will look into it. The coin came back genuine, Uncirculated but they clearly didn't like the NCS lab work on removing some PVC and gave a 92 details grade for cleaning. As it's Uncirculated it is still a very valuable coin as I sold the other, an EX45 for about $600.
