It's listed on coppercoins.com 1964D 1DO-003 The pickup is the 4 on the date, slight doubling on b in liberty, and a line under the L in liberty. Class 1. Worth $2.00.or so.
I fail to see the doubling on the crosslet of the 4 on your coin. I don't think it's 003, or any DDO for that matter. Do you have pics of LIBERTY?
Yes here is Liberty. You will see the slight doubling on the B. It's a worn coin so it's not as clear as Coppercoins.com . If you put your mouse over the date you can clearly see doubling on two sides of the 4. Thanks guys I'm stoked.
Yeah sorry, I'm still going to say no to this one. In order for it to be a certain doubled die, it needs to look EXACTLY like the one listed (aside from condition). Look at the strong extra bar under the L of LIBERTY on the coppercoins.com example. It is not present on your coin. Neither is the extra crosslet of the 4 in the date, and neither is the doubling of the B (from what I can see).
You must see something that I don't. That being said, photos don't always capture what is seen in person. If you are confident you have a new variety, I would suggest you send it in to a die attributor to get it listed.
The doubling is evident on the 4 for sure. There are so many 1964 doubled dies mostly reverse but none are worth more than a few bucks. I'll stick it in a 2x2 and file it. Thanks for your insights
