Having a hell of a month at the auctions, have been losing almost every coin I really like. This one caught my eye and I really liked it's look. The bidding went a bit higher then I originally wanted to spend on this particular coin, but with all the near misses this month I tossed an extra 10 on top of my "top" bid and it paid off cause now she's mine :D
So here you go GTG on this puppy :D

My grade would be EF-40, but I imagine that it's higher than that. I would say EF-45, but it has a few more marks in the fields than I would like for that grade.

    Huh, I said 40 too.
So, I will say that the surfaces are rougher than they look, and it got a 35.

XF Details Environmental Damage is my guess...the dark patches seem to be a little more than what is acceptable on a problem free example

XF details. Corrosion. If it straight graded, it should not have. Not an attractive coin, IMO.

I see evidence of friction in the right and left in the right and left obverse fields and to a lesser extent, the reverse. You can see original pieces with a similar look. Are there hairlines in the bright areas? You can’t see that in these photos.
