    Ok, enough talking. ;):)

    Cannon AFB Rocker\'s Roost 10c.jpg

I'm excited about this one and just had to share! I was stationed at Cannon Air Force Base for over five years, I met my wife there, and that's was her father's last assignment before he retired. There was no Rocker's Roost when I was there and I never heard of one. Longnine009, don't tell me if it's in Cunninham, because I have a copy on the way and you'll spoil the fun! :)

Pretty sweet, it always is nice to get a piece that has a personal connection and that sounds like you have a couple with this one.

Haha! I read the date to see when it was made and the difference didn't even register because it looked right to me.

    7 Euro, German Silver,
    M/A, 8.7 grms, 25.5 mm.
There was a clip that partially
    reformed. You can see the
remnants of it on the lower

CCC 750.JPG CCC 750 2.JPG I just picked up another coin medal counterstamped on the reverse of a 1919 Walker. It was issued by the Chicago Coin Club in 1982 to celebrate their 750th meeting. The stamp itself exhibits excellent craftsmanship but the host coin is unsuited for the design. The punch isn't robust enough to overcome the remaining design elements of the coin and as a result is hard to read. They either should have made a die with heavier devices or picked a coin with more wear. A nice piece nevertheless.

The Chicago Coin Club and Harrisburg
Coin Club (Pa.) have lots of medal

You're absolutely right longnine. I've found that the clubs in California and Pennsylvania issue more exonumia than any other state...by far. Pennsylvania in my opinion is number one.

The clubs that issue the highest quality pieces are the Chicago Coin Club, the Detroit Coin Club and of course the A.N.A.

Agreed. Pa. blows everyone away in
number of clubs and issues from them.

    CoinWorld Medal 1962 commemorating
the Charlotte mint. Brass, M/A, 18.7 mm,
    32.mm. I got this off ecrater for $5. I
really like the finish. It looks like
some kind of matte or bead blast.
