    Hello dear coin collecting friends,
I found this copper? ancient coin in a sale (it is about the size of a dime).
It almost looks like it has the design of the old Persian empire coins... Bearded guy, braided hair, etc.

    Any hints?

    Danke Schoen!

It does appear to be a bronze coin of the Parthian king Mithradates II. But it is very rough and I cannot make out the reverse type in your photo.

    Thank you!
For some reason, I can't get clearer pictures... The reverse is pretty worn out, but the obverse still has nice details.

Its pretty common with Parthian bronzes. The soil in this area of the world is acidic, and most bronzes get pretty corroded.
