Anyone Looked at Teletrade Lately?

    Another "better idea" that appears to have TOTALLY flopped.
    It's not unusual for a good site to rethink their business model and send whatever they had down the drain.

    Of course eBay leads the way.
    They tend to come up with ideas that go bad.
    And then instead of stepping back they come up with another idea that goes "badder".

    And it appears that Photobucket took a lesson from eBay.

    The only reason that eBay still thrives is that they are SO far ahead of the competition that they can shoot themselves in the foot and treat it as a flesh wound.

    I used to buy there a few years ago. I think Great Collections took a big bite out of them. better buy/sell policy.

    Hmm Teletrade was using some platform that looks like about a 1995 era look. I have to admit there were just so many flipping features on there that I don't like that I usually don't even bother unless I am looking to buy foreign gold at under spot, sometimes 60% of spot for a couple of gold coins a few years ago. Dix Noonan Webb is another auction venue that has a miserable platform.
