1944 Wheat Lamination Error.

    I found this in a roll at work today. Two layers of peeling! I'd like some opinions on it :)

    That is EXTREME! I would almost think partially split planchet. Awesome find!

    Thanks :D I was excited when I found it and there was even a second 1944 in the same roll! (nothing special with that one) This is by far the best error coin I have found. :D

    Keep peeling, there might be a chocolate inside :) The Liberty and date don't seem to be parallel.

    (The Liberty and date don't seem to be parallel)... What would cause this, and what does the reverse look like?

    I have to post again... I aligned the date and Liberty to another 44 cent, and they line up! I don't know why they look different on this post, but they do line up. Forget the reverse...Great Find!!!
