Here are some coins I found some Craigslist searching, since it is the best way to get cheap coins! Here are some things I might be interested in but didn't wanna get robbed.

First one, Proof sets. The owner has lost the original packaging so it comes as show In the pic. He is asking 15 dollars for all.

Second one, is this miniature 22k gold. I DO NOT know anything about this coin. The mintage, weight and stuff like that. If anyone could get me some info on this it would be great. Seller is asking 30

Last one, the seller is naming it NCM 1879 Morgan Dollar Silver Proof Coin. Is accepting offers and the highest one wins.. Bidding starts at 75. How much should I be if its worth over 75. IT IS NOT A REAL MORGAN, JUST .999 1oz silver coin

Hey Typicalcreepahx or "TCP if you dont mind me calling you that :p. I really only know what the proof mint sets are worth and the "gold" coin. He's asking around the right price for the proof sets if they are all indeed proof sets. If you intend to make money from them you probably wouldn't make more than a few to several dollars. As for the columbian mint gold coin i would stay away from that ,not worth 30. As for the Proof silver eagle I am not sure if that would be a good price or not it all depends on the grade for those but i have seen the proofs sell for around that. And the last bullion morgan I frankly think 75 is a bit much especially since its basically bullion. But then again it might be collectible to someone? Hope this info helps out a little.

Cazkaboom One for all, all for me.

First one is the only one I could see being an okay deal.

In time I believe you will find this to be far from the truth. CL used to be a great venue for both buying and selling, and while I am sure fair transactions can occasionally still be had, it has gone far downhill since around 2009. Every dealer-wannabe, newbie hotshot, scam artist, and dreamer uses it with the belief that coins/metals are their path to quick riches. Considering your age and the fact that you admittedly do not know enough about what you would be buying, I respectfully suggest that you steer clear. If you want the "best way to get cheap coins", get out there and make connections, and always do remember that one hand washes the other.

Good advice. That reminds me too I should have mentioned to that whoever you are no matter what age, make sure when you are going to meet with somebody on craigslist you have someone with you and meet in a public place like a costco's parking lot. There have been a number of increasing thieves on craigs list that would stick you up and try to rob you. So make sure to be aware and sensible.

Take care buying through craig'slist - meet in public place, don't give too much info - and agree only #1.
