This is my 'pocket piece' and holds sentimental value. But just out of curiosity, what would you guys grade this SBA and what do you think it is worth. It is a 1979P Wide Rim.
I can't really give a grade from those pictures, as the holder hides much of the details. Also, why is a pocket piece in a holder, anyway? I thought that a pocket piece is a coin kept in your pocket over time to simulate circulation. If you keep it in a holder, nothing is getting circulated.
is it like your good luck coin ?? and their is not much value in a piece like this sorry !!! it looks worn so prolly only worth about a dollar !!
Sorry for bad pics.. it is sentimental, and I carry it more or less for "luck" or "sentimental reasons" - however you want to look at it. I knew it wouldn't be worth much if anything. Question was more out of curiosity than anything. Thanks for the replies.
Are you sure it's a wide rim? I was never really good at spotting those...... Ya wanna hear something really pathetic? I used to carry my pocket piece (ASE) in a plastic flip.
