Hey, don't worry about grading it. Just send it to me. I'll take it off your hands!

Kind of interesting to be able to drive 20 miles to the bridge on the coin.

    :)

On the OP - I think that's at least AU55. I'd have to see it in hand (or much higher resolution pictures) to grade it along the MS61-MS65 slide rule. It's a nice example of the coin. Much better than mine.

My grandmother remembered going over there as a girl, they lived in the Central Valley then, and remembers riding over the bridge in her father's Model T about a day after the first opening. She remembered that it closed a couple of times afterwards from high winds because the engineers were being cautious.

I don't think that you're allowed to sell in this fourum

Note that the bridge on the coin is the San Francisco - Oakland Bay Bridge,
not the more famous Golden Gate Bridge.

To the original poster, based on the photo, your coin is MS63+/*. I've seen enough of these to know. I give it the + or * designation due to the great color luster and nice strike but it has too many hits to make it a 64.

Also the coin Johni has is MS63 as well but only due to the terrible scratch going across the bear otherwise a much better grade.
