1897 O Old Hairlines Net Grade?

    Not a Barber Half collector, what are your thoughts on this coin? I understand it would be a details grade at a TPG but how should a perspective buyer grade this coin (besides Details)? Thanks :)

    I would pay about half of the VG8 value myself. The rim bump hurts in addition to the cleaning and the PVC on it.

    Make that bumps.

    Nice barber you got there, not cleaned, but I agree with you on the details grade.Your coin appears to be that of a VG-8 putting the feather detail, letters of liberty, star detail, and overall circulation wear & tear in account.
