1909 penny that looks like it might of has a S??

    Heres one of my 1909 I pulled out to look closer at to day and it look kind of like a ( S ) Between ( 9 and 0 ) What's it look Like to you? Thanks Much..

    lots of "experts" on this site... I can see what your talking about... I would have asked (What's it look Like to you?) as well... And to answer you question it looks like a pressed in faint S... but that's my opinion

    this looks like one of the imaginary 1909 S mintmarks that the little lady used to sell on Ebay. I had a time with her trying to tell her better but she swore she could see a S mintmark . on one coin she claimed it had numerous mintmarks , one for every bump on the coin LOL .
