Help grade a VDB and IHC

got these in a trade there opion was the vdb f and the ihc au

The Indian looks like an XF-45 and the Lincoln looks like a VG at the best.

 

I'm not a grader but i do have a sense just by looking at hundreds of graded coins that I can reasonably agree with Rickipedia

 

Looks right to me.

You sound disappointed. Not sure why - both are nice coins. I think the VDB in hand would still be VG - looks kind of like the one I have in my album. The IHC I could change my mind on in hand, but honestly it looks like some nice natural wear down across high points. I like the IHC the best.

 

Maybe it's the scan, but the colors on the IHC (the rusty red color in particular) makes me think that it has an old cleaning and retoned. But maybe that's just me. Nice coins.

 

its a little darker in hand i adjusted the contrast and brightness to show detail better

im only a little dispointed because i wanted the highest grade i could get with what i had for my 20th/21st century album i ether wanted au or unc for the album on every coin i put in it. the 1909 vdb is for my wheat album id like it in higher grade because most of my wheat's including some teens are f-bu. and its my first 1909 and first vdb. Dont get me wrong i like the coins especial for what i traded to get them

 

also i already have two 1905 other then this one in other grades which i didnt relize intill after the trade lol. How does this one compare its currently in my album. I havent switched it out yet. because i got whitman to send another of the same album i got else where for free since one of the pages were torn and the other website wouldnt reply to my emails.

also im not sure what im sulposed to be looking for when people talk about how many diamonds ect. if you want i can try and get bigger pictures of the op coins
