Can't find this 12 coin 1971 Mint Set listed anywhere. Is it unique?

I have a couple hundred of them (none with Ikes, though). I also have hundreds of 1969, 1970, and 1972 sets, too.

For quite a while, I've been buying 1969-1972 OBW rolls of Denver minted quarters along with the Mint sets.

I've found some very nice coins, but not what I'm looking for. :(

Can you post a pic or link to the 12 coin set you're talking about?

I believe what you are looking for does not exist from the mint. You'd have to assemble your own set to include the Ikes. I never understood their reasoning for this. Then after 2001, they discontinue halves for circulation, but keep them in mint sets, and then the golden dollars...

Any such set is almost certainly packaged outside the mint.

In honor of the 1964-d Peace dollar, I think the Mint should make about 300,000+ 90% silver 2014-d Ike dollars...then melt them all down.

Eisenhower Dollar were not included in the Official US Mint Sets for 1971 or 1972. They did not make an appearance until 1973 which, BTW, was the only place they were available!

After Market companies certainly off Mint Sets which include the Eisenhower Dollar but they are not official US Mint Sets.
