"I have a whole roll of the mint new 2013 roll of quarters what should I do separate them sell them as a lot or what also whats it worth" "I have a whole roll of new U.S. Mint 2013 quarters. What should I do? Separate them, sell them as a lot or something else? Also, what's the roll worth?" Congratulation on your acquisition. It sounds like you want to sell these coins and try to make some money from them above their face value. However, at this time there are plenty of these coins out there for sale, so you are not likely to make more than you paid for them, or what some other person paid for them, if you received them as a gift. If someone can buy direct from the Mint for the retail price at this time, why would they pay more for your roll? There are more than one design of 2013 quarters and from various minting facilities. Which do you have? A roll of P, D or S minted quarters? As for value, any 40-coin roll of quarters is worth $10 until you find someone willing to pay a premium above that, and then whatever that amount is, is what it's worth to that person at that point in time, as well as to you, IF you agree to the amount they'll pay you for it. It doesn't matter if you bought a roll from the US Mint directly and paid $18.95 plus shipping for them. If you accept any offer from the next buyer, that's what they're worth to them and you. Ask another buyer, get another price and that's what it's worth. In an auction, whatever the final bid amount is, is what it's worth in that listing.
Picking on the newbie,again.............Tsk.tsk,tsk!! Krispy did the right thing. Others, not so much.
BTW, just got 3 BU beautiful ATB quarters in change while visiting Berkeley. Great Basin type. Who says these don't circulate? I like the border on all ATB quarters.
